Me and Miss Renee have been working hard on this next challenge. I loved the idea renee had! It's a step out of the scrapping box for a bit which is good. It allows you to use all your crafting skills. Really most of us are crafters, not just scrap bookers. So with that in mind we bring you:

Challenge 1

Hello ladies So we are back at scraplaughlove with a new set of bi-monthly challenges for you. We are so happy to be back and hope you join in and play along with us.

a new way of doing challenges

So ladies I missed scrap laugh love so much!
Ive been thinking of a way to bring it back that would be easier for me and Renee to run.
This is what Ive come up with.

-twice a month we will post on challenge for you
on the 1st and the 15th of every month.
-these challenge will vary, some will be a sketch to follow, some be a card to make, some will be a layout to lift.
-these challenge will be for fun! Just a way to get your mojo going and get you being creative and scrappy!
-sure once in awhile we may have a giveaway but it will not be constant.
-mostly we want to inspire you!!!! to give you a desire to bust out your scrap and craft materials!
-as always if you share you layouts with us we will add them into the reader gallery.

So join Renee and myself on June !st when we debut the first of our new challenges.

week 10

this week our challenge was brown paper bags!
I'd like to share a mini with you that I made some time ago with little brown paper lunch bags.

this week our inspiration is tape!

I used some blue graph deco tape on this layout. I used the old fashion style of taping the corners down with the tape. It gave me the look I was going for with this layout.

FEATHERS

this week our challenge is to use feathers! they are fun and whimsical and come in a variety of shapes and colors!

spray paint
who says spray paint isnt for scrapbooking?! It most certainly is!
It can give you some wonderful backgrounds!
Use it to cover your whol background or just srapy messy splotches on your paper.
Have fun and experiment.
Here I sprayed over some paper doilies to give myself my very own pattern paper.
***always use spray paint in a well ventilated area. even if using a small amount.***

Tissue paper!!!!
Who doesnt love tissue paper? Who doesnt have some laying around your house right now?
I love it and the versatility of it. You can so many unique things to do with it.
So heres a couple layouts me and renee wanted to share with you!

Heres Renees layout, She made the most gorgeous tissue tape flowers!(she included some close up for you)

I just love these flowers she made! such a great look and texture!

 heres my layout with tissue. I used some turquoise tissue to layer and give a little depth under the ribbon and title.
I love the fun texture it gives here. it really is a versatile product!

Week 4 challenge

This week we wanna RUFFLE things up a bit! Ruffles are super sweet. They add the perfect touch to just about anything! we are going to share alot of ruffled layouts this week.

Good morning everyone!

Well how is everyone? I hope you all are going to have a wonderful new years! I thought I would post this post early since I know that I will be busy this weekend. but after this, all challenges will be posted on mondays.

Challenge week 1
our first challenge of the year here at scrap,laugh,love is to use YARN! Let it inspire you in new ways you've never thought of! try using it differently. It can give great texture and color to any project! So pull it out and start getting inspired!
Remember any projects you create for our challenges that you wish to share will be displayed in our readers gallery page at the top!
Heres one idea to get your creative juices moving!

a new year, a new idea

So this year, we are switching things up a bit on here. Its going to be so fun an exciting!  We cannot wait to head down this road with you all!! We want this blog to be exactly what it says: Scrap, Laugh, Love. therefore we will be incorporating all of these things into our blog. We will have a weekly challenge for you every Monday! Fabulous fun creative challenges that will get all your crafty juices flowing!!! You will be inspired! ( we have our challenges all planned out till June!!!) Each week we will also bring some laughter into your life, whether this be a story, a joke, a group of funny pics, a scrapping mis-hap, we will help you pass your week with laughter and joy! The third installment each week will be something we love. May it be an artist we love, a layout we love, a photo we love and are inspired by, a touching tale, whatever it may be we will bring love and sweetness into your life each week.
Me and Renee feel so blessed to have met each other, to have the friendship and crafty relationship we have! We want to bring a little of that joy and sweetness into your life each week! We are extra excited to be traveling this road with all of you, our online friends who empower and inspire us everyday!
Some other changes will be that at the top we will have a page for any of you who wish to submit or share your creations with us for any given week, we will display them all in this gallery.
We've decide not to have monthly prizes also. Instead we will go with having random fun giveaways once in awhile!
we have also given the blog a new look. do you love it? We thought it was cute and sweet! theres also three new badges you can grab and share on your blog!
We are so excited to continue and explore this fabulous blogging journey we are on with all of you!
