card tutorial tuesday!!!
renee is back with another fabulous card tutorial for you!!!
Pick out some coordinating papers.
Thank You Card
By: Renee Ybarra
Supplies:
Paper Punch
Paper Trimmer
Stazon Ink
Stamp
1 ~ sheet of transparency
4 ~ brads
12 inches of ribbon or less
card stock
2 ~ pieces of coordinating patterned paper
1 ~ flower
Make your own transparency by choosing
your own stamp and stamping the transparency
with Stazon Ink. I chose a stamp that I could
layer different patterned papers underneath.
Then I punched out some patterned papers and
trimmed and arranged them under the transparency.
Adhered to cardstock than placed the transparency
on top of the cardstock and patterned paper.
Pick out some matching brads and ribbon.Pick out some coordinating papers.
Tie a piece of ribbon around the middle of the transparency,
attach the brads to hold the transparency to the cardstock.
Then layer the coordinating papers to the card base.
Add a flower with a glue dot and voila!!!
I just love the bright colors renee used in this card and all the layering amazing!!!!
show us your versions of this card! leave us a link in the comments section!

tutorial thursday
this is an older tutorial I made but I know alot of you probably have not seen it. its amazing so I want to share it again with you all!
supplies:
-White Cardstock
-White Embossing Ink
-White Embossing Powder
-Embossing Heat Gun
-2 Paint Brushes
-Acrylic Paint
-Small cup of water
-Stamp of choice
STEP 1: Gather All Supplies.
STEP 2: Using your Stamp of choice and White Embossing Ink, stamp images on the White Cardstock in any way you so desire.
STEP 3: Apply White Embossing Powder to Stamped Images and dust off excess. Repeat this process until you feel you have reached the look you want.
STEP 4: Using the Embossing Heat Gun, emboss the images as normal until they become smooth and glossy.
STEP 5: Allow to cool completely.
STEP 6: In a paint tray or a device of your choosing add the Acrylic Paint of your choice.
STEP 7: Add a small amount of water to the Acrylic Paint until the paint drips off your paintbrush.
STEP 8: Using the first of your two paintbrushes begin to apply the paint to your White Cardstock Paper using a back and forth hand motion and cover the entire paper with paint.
STEP 9: Before the paint dries quickly take your 2nd paintbrush and swipe over the stamped images to remove any paint. You want the images to appear white through the paint.
STEP 10: Allow the paint to dry.
And that's it. It's SO easy!
I hope you try this out!!! its an amazing technique that will allow you to create and type of pattern paper you desire!!! and any color to boot!

show us your scrap space
with renee!!!
Here is: My Scrap Corner~
Since I am not fortunate enough to have an actual scrap room, I am quite happy with My Scrap Corner. Until I get my own room this works just fine for the time being. I utilize 1/4 of our living room which is great when my Husband is watching something I really am not interested in I can go over to my corner and still interact with him. Yes, it's white and pink and really does not match my living room but I don't care I love my corner! It's all mine...
thanks so much renee for sharing your space with us!!! I know we are all envious of the pink!
have a great weekend ladies!
dont forget about your sketch!
