card tutorial tuesday!

good morning ladies are you ready for a uuber gorgeous card tutorial from our co founder/design team member renee?
here we go!

A Simple Card Tutorial
By: Renee Ybarra

Card base
2 – pieces of patterned paper (scraps work well)
1- piece of embossed paper (optional)
12 inches of 1 ¾ in. wide satin ribbon
2 - large flowers
1-bling center
1-stamped phrase (optional)
1-mat for stamp phrase
Glue dots

Trim patterned paper #1 to mat on to card base.
Trim embossed paper and colored patterned paper
# 2 to mat leaving at least 1/8 in. – ¼ in. to
let patterned paper # 1 to show.
Simply tie the satin ribbon around both pieces
of paper. I usually add a bit of adhesive to
the ribbon before tying the knot.

Next adhere both pieces of paper
to matted base.

Add stamped matted phrase.
I used pop dots to add dimension.
I also inked the sides of the card.

Then I added the flowers and bling with Glue Dots.
This is your final product!
I hope you enjoyed this

tutorial thursday!

hello ladies!
I have a cute little tutorial for you today to make a bulletin board. They are fast and easy!
here we go~

-a piece of fabric 14in.x14in.
-a piece of cork 12in.x12in.
(you could really make this any size you like. just make your fabric 2in. bigger on each side thatn what your cork is.)
-ribbon (i used a couple feet but you caould make it as long as you like)
-hot glue and extra glue sticks ready
-a junky piece of cardstock, can be any color you dont like cause you wont see it
-and some tacs to hang stuff on your board when your done!
step one
lay your cork ontop of your fabric on the wrong side of the fabric. you want the pretty part facing down. then using your hot glue begin to fold all the edges up and glue them to the cork. do this on all four sides.

step two
using your hot glue gun glue down one side of your ribbon. I glue down about 2-3 inches of ribbon to make sure its strong enough to hold my hanging board.

step three
then glue down the other side a couple of inches away.

step four
next glue your cardstock down.
( i trimmed and each off of each side before I did this but its not needed unless you want to)

step five
hang on wall!

step six
decorate and enjoy!!!!

I hope you ladies this tutorial simple and enjoyable!!!
it only takes me about 5 mins to make on of these! and they are so darn adorable!!!

happy crafting

Show us your scrap space

With Ledesma!

My Scraproom:
This is my scrap space it’s not really a scraproom since I live in an apartment I don’t have to many space for that so I have to managed to fit everything and my desk and a cabinet which was really ugly and old so I clean it and painted and now I love it!!!
I made my desk with cubes I bought on Michael’s and I bought the top on Home Depot It’s just a piece of wood I asked them to cut it at the measurements I need and painted it white and use to pieces of wood from the same I used on top of my desk to put on my wall it gives me more space to put more things on it like my 2 favorites baskets they used to be from my son when he was a baby and they were just neutral with baby fabric on them so I painted them and cover with some fabric I also cover my chair with the same fabric since it was just plain black and boring!!!
I hope you like my little piece of heaven

we hope you all have a Great long weekend!
Stay tuned next week for a fun tutorial!
